WHAT HAPPENED?
The 17-year-old has sustained an ACL injury, which could potentially rule her out for the remainder of the season. United brought her in from Rangers in the summer transfer window.

Watson is still just 17, as she made her Rangers debut when she was 15, and has already won four caps for Scotland, such is her potential.

United confirmed in a short statement: "Manchester United can today confirm that midfielder Emma Watson suffered an ACL injury while on international duty with Scotland.
"The 17-year-old is currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at Carrington with the support of our medical teams.
"Everyone at Manchester United will be working closely with Emma to support her recovery."
